Rug with custom design

GAMPA or Galerie města Pardubice (Gallery of Pardubice city) is a non-traditional space for art exhibitions accompanied by educational activities, lectures, workshops and other activities that bring art closer to the masses. The gallery is located in a renovated Baroque granary, near the Pardubice chateau in the historic city center.

The investor's request was a rug suitable for the games room, which is part of the gallery. Stone paving as a floor is not completely ideal for children's play activities and a rug with a felt backing will serve not only as a design element, but also as a pleasant thermal insulation layer.

The rug was designed by the architectural and graphic studio Mixage, the distinctive geometric pattern has 5 colors.

We had the designed rug (200 x 300 cm) printed by a supplier with whom we have long experience in this (printed rugs and carpets with custom design). We then finished the edges in our workshop by stitching in the appropriate color so that they are as unobtrusive as possible.
